Summer Reception at Denver Art Museum

Will and Christina were married in a beautiful ceremony on the shores of Hawaii, surrounded by close family. The small, intimate ceremony was exactly what they wanted for their wedding day. However, they also wanted to celebrate with their friends and family in Colorado.

Colorado Wedding Company was thrilled to plan a fabulous Reception for them at the Denver Art Museum. Beautiful floral and decor was designed by The Perfect Petal and Stunning photography was taken by James Christianson Photography. We're excited to share these beautiful images of the evening below.

Sydney & Chad's Winter Wonderland Wedding

Sydney and Chad's dream of a "Winter Wonderland Wedding" came true this weekend in beautiful Beaver Creek, Colorado. Skiing, Crackling Fires, Softly Falling Snow and Love were all a part of the atmosphere at The Ritz Carlton where they gathered for the weekend with family and friends. We at CWC could not have had a better time and are so happy for the two of them. They are an amazing couple and the picture above by James Christianson shows it.

Matt & Natasha's Wedding

Matt and Natasha's wedding took place this October in Downtown Denver. It's hard to put into words how much fun we had planning their big day, they are just about the nicest people we've ever met. It's also hard to put into words how much we LOVED how it all came together. The flowers from The Perfect Petal were out of this world beautiful, the cake by The Grand Hyatt's pastry chef was stunning, the photos by Frances Photography, as you can see below, could not have been more fabulous and we can't wait to see the video from Rising Moon when it's finished!

Planning a Wedding in 2 Days

The late October snow storm in Colorado put a big wrench in our client's wedding outside of Boulder. Too much snow and bad roads led to a change in venue with 2 days to plan a new wedding in L.A. It was a challenge but one that we were totally up to. In the end we flew to LA along with the flowers from Denver, floral designers from The Perfect Petal and fabulous photographer Frances from Frances Photography. Combined with a new minister, string section, rentals and food in California the wedding came together beautifully! Oh, and the 80 degree temperature meant there was no chance of snow on our wonderful client's big day. Here are a few fun photos of some event details...professional shots to come soon.

Wedding Season is Here!

Wedding Season arrived for Colorado Wedding Company in May this year, and we've been busy ever since. What a wonderful group of couples we've been able to work with too! We have driven around Denver and up to the mountains to celebrate love and joy in its purest form. Yes, we are romantics or we would not be in this business. One of the many wonderful things about being a Wedding Planner is the creativity and beauty of the events we're a part of creating. Some are simple and stunning, some creative and wild, some quirky, some chic but most are just plain STUNNING!!!

Stunning would be a word we would use to describe the events created by Preston Bailey. His book "Inspirations" is filled with the most amazing wedding photos. Just take a look at some of the creations he's put together...I have to say that I just can't put the book down. Each time I look at it I notice something new and am truly inspired.

Whirled Peas & Theorie

Thanks so much to Whirled Peas Catering for hosting happy hour at Theorie downtown last night. We had a great time drinking wine and martini's while eating yummy foods like goat cheese wrapped in phyllo, with plum reduction on top. Delicious!

What a cool location too. Theorie used to be B52s, then the Real World Denver house and now a very swanky bar filled with velvet pillowed couches, fabric swathed booths and a very cool atmosphere. It would be a very fun location for a cocktail party to kick off a wedding weekend. Loved it!

Lauren & Josh's Engagement

Oh So Chic!

A visit to L'amore de Vie's office today was so much fun. Laura and Paige are such talented photographers, not to mention such fantastic ladies. We had a great time ooh-ing and ahh-ing over bouquets, linens and beautiful photos in this month's issue of "bride & bloom." Then I came home and spent the next hour ooh-ing and ahh-ing over the amazing photos they took of a wedding we planned this November for Alex and Josh.

As you can see, Alex and Josh have such an eye for style they made our job easy!

Tastes, Sights and Weddings

CC and I spent a perfect afternoon visiting with our Denver wedding planning colleagues at a wedding roundtable sponsored by Epicurean Catering. It was a yummy event at the Palazzo Verdi in the Tech Center filled with great discussion and of course fabulous food.

Following lunch we had a chance to catch up with a former client and photographer, James Nally. Such a great guy who we wish the very best with his new wedding focused business. We can't wait to meet your new baby girl soon Cat and James.

The day was capped off with a cup of coffee while watching a beautiful wedding video with Mike from Rising Moon Productions. What a talented guy, I just love the style and charm he and his wife put into their wedding cinematography. Beautiful!

Today was just another example of why we love what we do, it got us so excited for the 2009 Wedding Season!
